Sales Managers or experienced reps: We are a small software company looking for the right person to build and manage our sales team.
We're looking for a high-energy Director of Sales who can sell software, implement a standard sales process, lead by example, and be productive in the long run.
You should have a track record of managing a professional sales team in B2B technical sales in a competitive market. At first you will generate sales but at the same time you will work with management to build a team.
Reporting to the CEO, this position is responsible for helping management to build a small but flexible sales group, and a marketing program to support it.
We would like you to stay with us for several years. We take a long-term view.
You will initially be responsible for acquiring new customers, including software demonstrations, strategy sessions, and actually closing deals.
From this initial role, you will help hire new reps, grow with the company and take on more responsibility.
