What You Will Do in This Role: Health care organizations are faced with new parameters in how they deliver care, changing demographics, new payment methods, and a shift towards move toward multi-hospital systems. We are seeking a Sales Director - Healthcare to collaborate with our local channel partners to uncover joint selling opportunities in the industry, and serve as the company’s healthcare industry expert.

You'll partner with members of the sales team to identify and close opportunities. You will also be responsible for direct selling opportunities and achieve revenue growth through new business generation specifically focused on the Healthcare market. While retaining and growing revenue from existing business is important, the emphasis will be on prospecting new business to achieve multi-million dollar quotas. This role serves as an industry resource on a national basis with a specific large geographic territory.

For success this role requires deep healthcare industry expertise to identify operational challenges within healthcare organizations and to serve as a trusted advisor to guide and partner the leadership within the healthcare organization. This is a highly consultative sales position that requires strong industry knowledge and proven sales results with large organizations within the healthcare field. You will work with your team to develop a target account list and drive net new revenue with channel and application partners.

  • 10+ years of experience in a major account or account executive role selling and managing key accounts in a complex, solution oriented solutions to the healthcare industry
  • Strong knowledge in wireless voice communications and experienceworking with Channel Partners in the Healthcare Industry. (i.e. EHR Software providers, Distributors, Resellers, etc)
  • Must be a subject matter expert in some element of healthcare
  • Success driving value selling and strategic account planning
  • Experience working in a heavily matrixed organization; leading, mentoring and developing a sales team with 5 + team members.
  • A hunter mentality, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar targets
  • Strong operational skills, must be strategic and transformative, with the ability to visualize and articulate Spectralink’s solution in an environment to key influencers within the healthcare organization.
  • Adept in understanding and translating critical business needs into meaningful solutions
  • Proven ability to become the trusted advisor and work effectively with Physicians, Nurses, and Clinical professionals
  • Proven success in formulating and executing a strategic plan to capture growth, Track record of driving YoY growth of 10% +.
  • Strong understanding and reliance on data analytics and metrics to shape strategies and optimize performance

Location: Working out of a home office in a major metropolitan area, traveling 50%
