Our client is a manufacturer and supplier of processing equipment for the beef, poultry and seafood industries, including blending blending, frying, mixing, forming and slicing equipment. They are currently searching for a well-qualified Director of Sales.
Incumbent will work from their Home Office, can live anywhere in US near a major airport.
-- Develop sales strategy, program implementation, goal setting, annual forecasting, process optimization, policies and practices, sales reporting, marketing materials, budgeting and team management.
-- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
-- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity.
-- Partner with senior sales leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement and customer sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources and other sales and management resources as needed.
-- Manage a team of 7 - 10.
8+ years of food industrial equipment sales experience.
Demonstrated sales and sales leadership success and the ability to create and execute sales strategic plans.
Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with key customers.
Well-developed skills in sales force management.
Travel up to 30%
Compensation: $140K - $150K, total comp at plan $260K - $270K, plus full benefits. 30% travel (all travel paid).
