Q2 is seeking a Director of Sales, Credit Unions to lead and manage a team involved in selling complex software solutions to financial institutions. This individual will be managing a team of direct sales professionals focused on selling our market leading digitalbanking solutions. We are seeking an individual not only with strong leadership skills but also a strong grasp of technology in the financial industry space. This individual must have a track record of success in developing and leading sales teams. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing of a team of direct sales professionals (Regional Sales Managers), selling Enterprise Software Solutions to Financial Institutions.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive business growth in assigned territories.  Work with Regional Sales Managers to identify and pursue opportunities or responding to sales initiatives when appropriate
  • Coach and manage a high performing sales team
  • Responsible to meet and exceed financial and other targets set for Individuals and the team
  • Establish and manage strong relations with C-Suite personnel within financial institutions.
  • Work cooperatively with marketing and operations teams to help develop nurture and sustain new business opportunities
  • Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
  • All sales are to new customers; this team is not responsible for upgrades or renewals

                                             

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE: 

  • Minimum of 10 years relevant sales experience in Financial or payment industry, with 5+ years of experience in a leadership position managing a team
  • Proven New Business Software Solutions Sales Experience in Financial Institution accounts required
  • Complex, Consultative Solutions style selling and coordination of firm’s resources from Pre-Sales, Engineering, and Solutions consultants is required
  • Proven New Business Software Solutions Sales Experience in Financial Institution accounts required
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Well organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
