We're looking for an outstanding communicator and leader, who can manage a high-performing sales team, maintain and grow high-level relationships, and support and assist the existing sales team in closing deals, as needed.

This position requires a strong understanding of how to navigate a growing organization to assess and evaluate the merit of new tactics and approaches to hunting new business while maintaining and strengthening relationships with current clients. Proven success in selling or leading teams in subscription-based technology products is a huge plus.

REQUIREMENTS

The Director of Sales Coaching and Effectiveness's primary job responsibilities include:

  • Provides coaching, support, resources, and motivation to the sales team to grow and develop their skills and career with PointCentral
  • Supports the sales team in maintaining and growing long-term relationships with current clients
  • Helps the sales team achieve new and innovative ways to generate leads, earn new business, and accelerate sales
  • Gathers feedback from the sales team on regular basis to constantly improve support
  • Works with the sales team to optimize and evolve the team's inbound and outbound sales processes through data-driven, results-oriented evaluation and experimentation
  • Resolves any escalated customer service issues quickly and efficiently to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Designs and implements onboarding and ongoing training programs, and partners with Training to create and package playbooks, training decks, demos and more
  • Partners closely with other Sales teams in the organization and acts as a strategic partner to identify and solve mutual sales challenges and gaps
  • Collaborates with Operations and Product Management teams to develop process and product feedback; advocates internally for critical product feature development necessary to win and expand revenues
  • Partners with Marketing to develop strategy to enhance our marketing process and approach
  • Identifies and participates in networking activities such as attending professional association meetings; stays on top of competitive trends and emerging tech developments
  • Helps build a fun, high-energy environment where people love coming to work
  • Other responsibilities, as needed

Qualification Required

  • Bachelor's degree (Sales, business, and marketing majors, preferred)
  • 7+ years' experience in sales development with a successful track record of coaching and developing sales teams
  • 5+ years' management experience
  • Desire to lead, coach, and develop others around you; you have a passion for developing talent and coaching a team to success
  • Deep understanding of SaaS sales cycles, sales process, and sales coaching
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Ability to meet heavy travel demands, approximate travel is 35%-50%
  • Ability to sell concepts and value-added services
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a small, fast-paced environment
  • Proven history of increasing revenue, closing accounts, and successfully growing accounts in a strategic manner
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including client presentation and training delivery experience

Qualifications Preferred

  • Experience creating, maintaining, and/or delivering training and coaching content in technology areas
  • Knowledge of Vacation Rental Market
  • Experience in the NARPM Market
  • Experience selling subscription-based technology products
