Celadon, one of North America’s largest asset and logistics based truckload providers, is searching for a Director of Sales residing in the Dallas / Fort Worth, TX area to solidify our regional and national footprint in domestic and international transportation. This individual should be confident they possess the ability to increase Sales revenue with new client relationships while adding company revenue through existing customers and past relationships. Dry Van, Dedicated, Temperature Control, Intermodal and Logistics will be continued focal points for the company. Celadon also remains committed to maintaining its position as a leading provider of cross-border transportation into Mexico and Canada. Industry knowledge will be weighed heavily. Responsibilities / Job Duties:

  • Generate Sales revenue with new customers and past client relationships that align within Celadon’s current network needs and model
  • Work with existing Sales and Business Development team members across North America to expand relationships and impact growth initiatives
  • Manage and facilitate all customer relationships with internal departments to include: Contracts, Pricing, Customer Service, Planning, Operations, Claims, Billing and Collections
  • Tracking and maintaining all sales activities within Salesforce; prospects and pipeline will have deep emphasis
  • Meet quarterly and annual goals set forth by management
  • Share ideas for continuous improvement in a professional manner supporting a positive culture

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • 5 years transportation and logistics experience
  • 2-3 years minimum transportation-related Sales experience
  • Commitment to travel within defined region; corporate account visits as necessary
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with precise attention to detail
  • 4 yearBachelor’s degree
