Sage Hospitality is set to hire an accomplished Director of Sales and Marketing to lead the amazing and collaborative sales team at The Elizabeth Hotel in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado. We are seeking a strong leader to contribute to this already very successful property by getting creative, being influential, and staying ahead of the curve.

Director of Sales and Marketing
A proven track record as a Director of Sales and Marketing, preferably with lifestyle or luxury hotel experience (Marriott experience a plus)
Experienced leader who can effectively manage and train a team and ensure action plans and goals are attained
Technical skills as it relates to sales system management, weekly and monthly reporting and forecasting
Can deploy and mentor the sales and catering team to uncover new accounts and business in a highly competitive market
Builds relationships and enhances lead generation from GSO network and within brand channels
Oversees and implements effective branding, marketing, social media and public relations initiatives
Ability to leverage relationship with hotel owner in order to gather support for budgeting and business plans. Proven success in owners meetings and budget presentations
Works with agencies to drive revenue through digital marketing process including website development and ad campaigns
Works within a team to develop programming and activations
Involved in the community and develops mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships

3-5 years of hotel sales management experience
Requires knowledge of general sales techniques, yield management, and customer service skills.
Ability to Travel and multi-task
Requires effective business writing ability and communications skills
Vision to read fine print and computer screens, to see colors, to observe rooms in poorly lit conditions
Understand and follow verbal/written instructions
Develop strong internal and customer relations
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
4+ years of hotel sales management experience
