The Director of Quality Management is responsible for:

  • The oversight of the Standards of Compliance and Quality Assurance activities

The Director of Quality Management must:

  • Hold a current License as a Registered Nurse in the state in which the facility resides
  • Possess related experience to assess clinical and psychological needs and interface with provisional staff, both external and internal
  • Have Nursing, Case Management, or otherHealthcare experience of at least five to ten years and demonstrated expertise with quality assurance and compliance standards and process, rehabilitation, insurance, managed care, workers compensation, and outcomes
  • Have management or supervisory experience of Healthcare personnel for a minimum of five years
  • Have knowledge of the following:
    • Joint Commission requirements
    • Quality assurance, standards compliance, and outcome management
    • External medical case management programs
    • Reimbursement guidelines
    • Payment/reimbursement systems
    • Patient rights and commitment to patient advocacy
