A $15,000.00 sign on bonus is currently being offered for this position for a twenty four (24) month commitment of full time employment.
LAMC is currently offering an up to $1000.00 per month rental incentive for up to six months for this Director position for a newly hired applicant who makes the decision to move to Los Alamos and reside in the community.
Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
This position develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objective
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives
Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding
Coordinates and directs internal/external audit
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth
Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
Current NM RN licensure orappropriate RN Compact licensure preferred, Significant previous healthcareexperience dealing with compliance and regulatory matters may be considered inlieu of RN licensure.
Associate's degree or Bachelor'sdegree preferred.
Requires critical thinkingskills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimalsupervision. Must be able to work in astressful environment and take action.
