The Role

Pantheon is looking for a Director of Program Management to lead the project management function at the company. This entails owning the cross functional processes that drive the software development lifecycle with product and engineering, ensuring all functions of the company are on the same page, and ensuring the delivery of key strategic projects from inception to customer success.

You will partner with the core leadership team to drive and execute the vision for key initiatives and integrations across disparate departments from sales and marketing to finance. You must have experience in leading planning, resource management, projectlifecycles, and workflows in a dynamic product organization with a fast-moving startup culture. You thrive when given the chance to design systems and process that facilitate efficient collaboration and execution. You have experience collecting product and technical requirements for complex projects that span multiple teams. You understand the benefits of moving quickly and enjoy teaming up to solve hard problems. You are a harmonizer who can drive alignment across functions.

You have demonstrated experience building, leading, mentoring and supporting program and project managers to ensure projectdelivery excellence, customer satisfaction and financial success.

Cool Stuff You'll Do

  • Provide program management for strategic company-level programs i.e. major product releases, integration of support ticket tracking, payments services etc
  • Build, coach, lead and inspire a team of program management professionals.
  • Work closely with all departments from engineering to back office to establish and maintain processes that build rigor and predictability
  • Communicate to the company the status of the programs above (via email, presentations at all hands, etc.)
  • Own and evolve metrics for program success/failure. Analyze and create dashboards for key metrics.
  • Promote world-class industry best practices as well as innovate on new ways of working for the organization
  • Develop relationships at all levels of the organization to increase collaboration and productivity, act as a trusted partner.
  • Influence decision making and problem solving across projects, programs and teams.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Team Management (5+ years) – experience leading a PM team, including all aspects of people management and development.
  • Technical Program Management (10+ years) – demonstrated experience with leading and driving large complex multi-functional technical programs at deeply technical software companies
  • Can communicate effectively with audiences of varying technical capabilities, from CXOs to software engineers
  • Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities in the face of ambiguity.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, leverage talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
  • Demonstrated risk management and mitigation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, planning, and organization skills
  • Entrepreneurial, "can do" attitude, ability and willingness to make an impact in a start-up organization.
  • Experience working at a SaaS company or product.
  • BA/BS or equivalent
