This role will have a small team responsible for various products, owning the holistic design and user experience across the products, communication, analytics, tracking and delivery of the digital products.

We are looking for someone with 8+ years of digital product management experience who has experience mentoring and leading teams. You must have experience with consumer facing products to truly understand the user experience.

  • Manage a team of Product Managers and lead, the ideation, technical development and launch of business platform and monetization products
  • Lead and evolve digital capital planning process, working with extended teams and key stakeholders
  • Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
  • Establish long-term, productive relationships with partners to effectively run Digital Product management process on-going
  • Offer organizational design thinking to best structure the team and equip them for success in their goals
  • Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers, designers and user researchers
  • Facilitate regular Digital Product Roadmap/Portfolio review with Leadership Team to action on, highlighting key details to inform their decision making process
  • Manage change and functionality request process to feed roadmap/portfolio planning
  • Own and manage internal budgeting workflow and pipeline planning
  • Engage with internal partners to assure proper resource planning and providing comprehensive briefs for estimations
  • Define, develop, and drive standardization of planning and reporting practices
  • Implement standards, practices, and techniques of project and portfolio management using working knowledge of project methodologies
  • Own ongoing portfolio management processes: completing ongoing portfolioreporting, highlighting escalation or exceptions, assisting with new team members onto project tracking tools, coaching to assure project delivery success
  • Track digitalportfolio planning issues and projects key project milestones to identify and manage project interdependencies and mitigate risks
  • Create and manage a portfolio dashboard, which outlines both the projects currently underway and those in the backlog, with their priority according to the overall business objectives
  • Provide a centralized view of weekly and monthly portfolio status reporting ensuring that key stakeholders are aware of the health of the portfolio and any key actions required
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

Position Summary:

  • The Product Management, Business Platform & Monetization will be responsible for providing leadership over the team that defines the strategy and functionally for Wyndham Destinations Digital Transformation
  • This leader will lead a team of product experts, in collaboration with cross functional business stakeholders, to define the vision for the entire end-to-end consumer (internal and external) experiences across all digital touch points (e.g., device, physical location, etc.)
  • This leader, along with their teams, will be accountable for the successful launch of all of digital products through the lifecycle of the product (Product Development, Introduction, Growth, Maturity, Decline)
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and proven track record of product management and user experience design with respect to Web, mobile and wearable technology, native application and Web engineering, as well as the ability to provide broad influential leadership towards the development of end to end consumer experiences
  • The ideal candidate will also have an eye toward the rapidly evolving digitallandscape and provide leadership over advanced and emerging concepts to help educate leaders across the company, as well as inform our product roadmap/portfolio
  • This leader requires the ability to direct and develop teams that ideate and deliver high quality digital products for our consumers by fostering and demonstrating a culture of data-driven and end-user focus

QualificationsKey Qualities Required

  • Deep knowledge and extensive track record in leading teams in the development of Web and mobile solutions, with a deep understanding of how to get consumer-centric solutions to market with a high degree of success
  • Deep knowledge of digital technologies, with an eye toward the continual change in consumer technology, including but not limited to wearables, screen-less UI, artificially intelligent bots and voice recognition
  • Experience leading product, design and engineering teams through a software development lifecycle that leverages agile principles, yet recognizes constraints necessary in an environment that has both antiquated systems and a construction lifecycle with a long lead time
  • Ability to effectively provide overall leadership across a large and diverse delivery system, that spans product definition, design and engineering across front-end UI, services and back-end systems
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and project/program leadership skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at the senior most executive levels of a company

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in a Product Management role, with at least 5 years focused on consumer-facing mobile products including both iOS and Android
  • Bachelor’s degreerequired, with a MS/MBA or other relevant advanced degreepreferred
  • Significant and demonstrable experience in leading teams/organizations in bringing high quality digital products to market
  • The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategy and execution skills at the enterprise level. This role requires that the candidate have a proven track record of leading large teams through ideation, design and delivery of complex consumer experiences
