Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage casino compliance product line for credit data gathering, credit management (marker), and jackpot processing solution products.
  • Directly responsible for design and delivery functions working collaboratively with peer organizations such as System Analysts, Project Managers, QA, DevOps, and Release Management.
  • Responsible for staying abreast of industry advances that may improve ability to execute more efficiently; researches and evaluates new technologies to determine their applicability to assigned software development projects.
  • Ability to work with a production team on scheduling, planning, and sizing of functional specifications and software designs.
  • Responsible for monitoring project timelines and key development milestones.
  • Customarily and regularly ensures that software design features and objectives are consistent with internal customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the preparation and/or oversight of project staffing estimates. Monitors project status and skill requirements and ensure appropriate resource levels and a mix of competencies among staff.
  • Ensures efficient project management and coordination of internal teams with external resources to dependably deliver committed projects within budget, on time and with exceptionally high quality.
  • Customarily and regularly collects, analyzes and reports on important metrics during the software development phase of a product.
  • Customarily and regularly direct the work and manage the personnel issues of direct report employees, including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff, and recommending or initiating promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant equivalent experiencerequired.
  • 11+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of management and/or team leadership experience in a software development role.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams using both Traditional and Agile software development methodologies interchangeably.
  • Demonstrated experience and best practices with multiple teams on simultaneous projects while enabling short development cycles.
  • Proven ability to focus on process improvements and key performance metrics that add to the overall effectiveness of the development team.
  • Mastery of MVC and MVVM frameworks and most traditional design patterns and enterprise architectural patterns
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SQL server and entity framework
  • Experience with service oriented and microservice architectures
  • Demonstrated in-depth ability with Microsoft .NET, Angular, Node, and other JS and web frameworks.
