The Director of Practice Operations will be responsible for all aspects of practice operations, supervision, and facilities management. Provides leadership and is accountable for business operations for all practice locations for primary and specialty practices as well as administrative functions that are centralized. leads direct reports to
anticipate problems and identify actions which will avert future problems. Ensures the annual goals of direct reports and practice managers are aligned with Wentworth Health Partners and Wentworth-Douglass Hospital's initiatives
and goals. Has oversight responsibility and accountability for the orientation and ongoing education and competency of all staff and supervisors employed in the practice, excluding providers. Orients, trains, supervises,
and assigns work of staff through supervisors. Ensures Just Culture principles are used consistently in all practices. Receives feedback on staff performance and opportunities for improvement and acts on same. Quality, Safety, and
Provides administrative oversight to all quality, safety, and compliance functions in all practices and ensures checks/balances are in place to meet or exceed quality, safety, and compliance standards and goals in all
practices. Fiscal Responsibility - is responsible and accountable to meet or exceed budget bottom line as it pertains to each practice site/department by managing both revenue and expenses. Ensures charges are reconciled and
submitted at the end of each day in all practices. Patient Experience - ensures all staff and managers are trained and current in the principles of Language of Caring (LOC) and other patient experience methods as adopted by WHP;
holds managers accountable for same. Coaches employees to maximize the use of customer service tools and programs for an enhanced patient experience. Operations Excellence/Improvement - Leads and manages start up
operations for new practices. Oversees Operational Excellence initiatives in area of responsibility. Requirements Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years physician practice experience including a primary care setting. Experience working with multiple medical practices. Experience with implementing, tracking, analyzing, and improving clinical quality measures. Experience with program development implementation and evaluation. Project Management skills. Management experience with increasing responsibility.

Preferred Experience:
Understanding of Lean Six Sigma.

Education:
Master's Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing management, or related healthcare or business field preferred.

Special Skills:
Excellent communication skills, knowledge of evidence based standards. Experience in ambulatory practices. Organization WDPC Administration
