Essential Functions Include:

  • Help to develop best practices in delivery of Practice Group services and make practical recommendations and action plans for improvement

  • Facilitate communication with and among the Departments and Practice Groups

  • Work with Pricing and Project Management team to develop pricing proposals and budgets, and to monitor/manage matter performance

  • Analyze financial performance including matter management as necessary

  • Interface as needed with clients’ procurement personnel to help obtain new work and perform work efficiently and profitably

  • Work with legal recruiting on Associate and lateral hiring and support integration of lateral attorneys in assigned groups

  • Manage workflow and staffing matters within and between each Practice Group

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Strong consideration will be given to candidates who possess a JD, MBA, or other advanced degree

  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services firm with a demonstrated understanding of the legal industry and law firm economics

  • Full awareness of law firm financial concepts and able to utilize software such as Elite, Intellistat and/or financial systems

  • Strong business acumen including analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

  • Outstanding client service skills and responsiveness

  • Excellent analytical skills
