The Director of Perioperative Clinical Services is accountable for the nursing and clinical services for the operating room and perianesthesia services at the Cancer Center South Bay and Stanford Healthcare at Emeryville. This includes responsibility for planning, organizing, leading and directing the nursing care and support services that provide the infrastructure for the delivery of quality, compassionate and cost-effective patient care. The Director will establish and maintain a care delivery model designed to meet the clinical and service needs of clients and implement standards and policies which ensure safe and efficient practices. The Director will collaborate with other leaders who support the Interventional Platform, including Perioperative Services, Cath Angio, IR, Endoscopy, Inpatient Procedures, Sterile Processing, and Business Operations. The Director will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain and establish services at all SHC Ambulatory Perioperative sites. This would include, but not be limited to new service line activations, and new building activations.Education: Master's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university is preferred. Experience: 5 years of progressively responsible directly related work experience in administrative and/or managerial positions. Experience leading and managing teams across multiple sites highly preferred. License/Certification: CA Registered Nurse - Valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
