Provides strategic direction and leadership to the Patience Access Team, promoting team work and inspiring staff to strive for excellence in all they do. Empowers team members to collaborate with each other to develop tools and make recommendations for improving registration processes, promoting access to care, reducing wait times and promoting customer service in effort to enhance the patient's total care experience and ensure stewardship of hospital resources.
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Management, Business Administration, or related health care field. Experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree
- Minimum 7 years management experience in registration, patient financial services, or related field
- Ability to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others. Ability to comply with all Good Shepherd policies and procedures that are job-related and consistent with business necessity. Ability to effectively communicate with patients and provide competent care as appropriate to the ages of patients served by this position
