DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Top Must Haves for the Ideal Candidate:

1. Bachelor?s degree in related field. Master?s degreepreferred.

2. Minimum 10 years of plant or general management experience (medium to large size facilities) in a manufacturing environment.

3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills. Ability to work and influence all levels of the organization.

4. Demonstrated experience with lean and continuous improvement tools.

Requirements:

? Effective coaching and mentoring skills.

? Demonstrated experience with lean and continuous improvement tools.  LeanSix Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.

? Proven results in plant transformation preferred.

Responsibilities:

? Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in all aspects of plant operations including safety, quality, production, and delivery.

? Lead the development and deployment of manufacturing practices focused on quality and continuous improvement.

? Cultivate a continuous improvement culture by establishing a commitment to the elimination of waste using tools of lean.

? Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.

? Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.

? Manage capital asset maintenance.

? Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.

? Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary. Lead transformation of physical plant and support preventative maintenance programs.

? Serve as member of global operations leadership team, helping to drive key corporate initiativyes.

? Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.

Compensation:

A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that includes a base salary, along with performance-based bonus.

$130K - $170K
