Our client is seeking an energetic, high-performing Director of Operations (DO). Franchisee of a worldwide quick-service restaurant chain is looking for a high performing leader to motivate, inspire and coach multi-unit managers in a region located in South Central Ohio and Indianapolis. We are looking for a leader who has proven success in identifying talent, building teams, cultivate the outstanding culture already in place and be provided the opportunity to grow your career alongside the company growth. We are looking for an operations champion who will be a brand ambassador and ensure their restaurants are providing outstanding guest service and food quality.

Overseeing the operations for 25+ plus restaurants, this role is responsible for supporting and ensuring that all restaurants operate within company standards, execute existing systems, ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, while meeting/exceeding sales and profitability objectives. The DO is accountable for training, coaching and mentoring managers in all areas of the business and ensuring region maximizes sales and profit. Drive-thru experience is required.

Duties Include:

  • Responsible for the oversight of implementation and deployment of new systems and processes for regions
  • Responsible for the selection, development and performance of Multi-Unit Managers and defined managers
  • Evaluate restaurant operations, coordinate visits with Multi-Unit Managers and partner to conduct visits
  • Accountable for meeting/exceeding sales, traffic, retention and profit goals for assigned regions
  • Maintains effective communication with Multi-Unit Managers and defined managers regarding the quality of their operations
  • Measures and provides counsel on improving operational performance
  • Acts as a liaison between the field (Team Members/Guests), the Home Office and any other appropriate support departments
  • Budget and cost control responsibility for region
  • Responsible for developing local store marketing strategies for assigned regions
  • Other duties and projects as assigned


Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and development skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to positively influence and manage through others
  • Must have drive-thru experience
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to solve complex problems
  • Proven track record and success managing multiple restaurants
  • Proven track record in successfully identifying talent, training and ongoing coaching and development of people
  • Experience and proven track record in managing a budget, cost controls to increase revenue and profitability
  • Ability to work well and partner with others in a team-oriented environment
  • Five years' experience working in a restaurant multi-unit leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Travel within the market
