Job Requirements     Education Requirements: MSN required.

Experience Requirements: Minimum 5 years Director Level experience in a highly collaborative and matrixed not-for-profit health system environment. Acute care and ambulatory leadership experience required. Critical Care, Emergency Department, or Surgical Services Nursing Leadership experience highly preferred.

State of Florida Licensure Requirements: Florida Registered Nurse License required

Other: Knowledge of current theoretical approaches to the delivery of ambulatory nursing care. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Project management, continuous quality improvement and the ability to lead change through innovation and relationship. Acknowledgement and sign-off on LHCP expectations and behaviors.
Job Description     Reports dually to the Vice President of Lee Health Coconut Point and the LH Chief Patient Care Officer. Directs operations for LHCP Emergency Department, Surgical Services, and the Complex Care Unit. Plans, organizes, develops, directs, and evaluates the nursing service operation ensuring the highest degree of quality patient care. Provides direction to licensed and unlicensed staff. Responsible to ensure the patient care provided in patient centric. Fosters collegial relationships with medical staff. Ensures that all applicable Federal, State, and Local Standards adhered to. Responsible to embrace, model, and cultivate the LH mission and values, as well as the LHCP Vision, collaborative guest-centered culture, and expected behaviors. Implements the Lee Health Operating System and makes continuous collaborative improvement a priority.
