The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall clinical operation of the Hospice agency.
Key responsibilities involve budgetary, management, leading the activities of the nursing team, providing clinical direction, and ensuring compliant growth and profitability of the agency. Our candidate will possess the ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality levels consistent with Heartland’s professional standards and goals.

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the State Board in which he/she practices. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
Minimum of one year experience in providing medical, home health care, or hospice nursing preferred. (This may be higher by state specific regulation.) 2-5 years of previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
