Director of Nursing
Harmon Hospital is searching for a talented and dedicated working Director of Nursing with a passion for behavioral health and long term care to lead our clinical team in Las Vegas.

As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for the overall quality clinical and psycho social outcomes of the facility. Priority one will be quality care, customer service and employee relations. In addition, responsible for regulatory management, Joint Commission Accreditation, attracting and retaining top performing talented team members as well as the supervision and career coaching of existing team members on staff. Will provide education and certification for staff on crisis prevention and intervention training for managing behavior health patient’s care.

Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.
3+ years experience as a Director of Nursing in an acute psych facility.
RN, BSN – Masters Degree preferred or education plan in place working toward Masters degree required.
Joint Commission Accreditation experience
Demonstrated ability to maintain positive employee and community relationships
Superior customer service skills
Excellent computer skills coupled with the ability and willingness to learn new systems
Ability to follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care facilities.
Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.
