Job Summary The Director of National Accounts at Hotel del Coronado, a Curio Collection by Hilton will handle a group market.  He/she will serve as the hotel representative to prospective clients and customers who need to rent rooms, meeting space, food and beverage service, etc. This role is designed to initiate new sales, prospects and accounts. This role qualifies leads and solicits potential clients, entertains clients, conducts site visits and answers questions, determines rates, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, services accounts and analyzes lost business for the hotel/s. Develops sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals. Works with various departments to ensure requested services are provided to customers.As Director of National Accounts, specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Initiate new sales, prospects and qualifies leads and solicits potential clients
  • Respond to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc.
  • Act as the primary sales contact, internally and externally for the property
  • Directly manage and drive the group sales strategy for the Hotel del Coronado
  • Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts
  • Conduct property site visits and answer questions
  • Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost business for the hotel(s)
  • Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals
  • Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts
