Under the direction of the Chief Physicist, the Director of Physics-Proton will manage a diverse team of professionals to ensure the highest level of precision, safety, and efficiency of modern proton delivery technology and techniques used to treat patients with cancer. The role requires an individual to lead a team of Board-certified medical physicists in overseeing the day-to-day technical operations of three PBS dedicated proton gantries at MCI. The role provides the opportunity to collaborate with and participate in the Department's growing research group with interests in clinical research, motion management and machine/patient specific proton delivery QA.
