Halfaker has an opening for a Director of Marketing to join our talented, dynamic team. The key responsibilities for this position include:

 

  • Provide marketing vision in alignment with company strategy and organizational goals
  • Develop annual marketing plan, strategy, budget and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals
  • Provide leadership and execute the design, development, and implementation of products and services
  • Oversee and conduct market and competitor analysis
  • Lead digital and social marketing efforts to drive lead generation, new client acquisition and retention, and recruiting
  • Develop the positioning, messaging, branding segmentation, and marketing plans
  • Generate quantifiable objectives and metrics, to measure lead generation results
  • Execute and measures campaigns that build sales pipeline
  • Capture and track key lead generation and marketing metrics
  • Establish and maintain a consistent, compelling corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events
  • Ensure all product management and marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources
  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities
  • Prepare presentations to explain the Company’s current and future strategies
  • Lead and initiate innovative marketing programs for sales and management teams in a matrix managed organization
  • Manage news tracking and industry trend analysis and general topic research
  • Maintain appropriate repository ensuring the Executive Team is up-to-date on industry/customer trends and news
  • Create news articles and support PR initiatives

Required Skills

  • Track record of creative campaigns and marketing ideas with demonstrated results
  • Significant, hands on experience in media relations and content development
  • Success representing public relations on cross-functional teams developing strategies and tactics for integrated marketing plans
  • Strong writing ability
  • Strong existing relationships with key technology, consumer, and business press
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and critical thinking skills. Strong content writing a must
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to multitask, prioritize and work with all levels and departments within an organization
  • Strategic thinker, problem-solver and self-starter who is able to drive projects individually and as part of a team Experience working with senior executives and solution architects or technical leads
  • Experience managing outside resources, including an agency team
  • Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment

Required Experience

  • 3-5 years of work experience within public relations, marketing, and communication
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in marketing, public relations/ communications, English or journalism.
  • Success in developing and executing on a broad range of public relations programs
