Director of Installation & Project Management

Our client is global leader and manufacturer of outdoor equipment and construction. They are seeking to hire a Director to oversee Installation & Project Management teams. The Director will be responsible for managing a team in the field on job sites and overseeing the entire project/installation cycle to completion. In this role, they will be responsible for client and vendor relationships as well as providing support after installations are complete including repairs and spare parts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project management operations of multiple projects and installations from beginning to end
  • Manage and develop a team of in field project managers, estimators, installers, etc.
  • Maintain client and vendor relationships; provide repair services, maintenance and spare parts as needed after sale
  • Work collaboratively with sales, estimators, installers and project management team
  • Provide installation technical support, address any safety issues/concerns
  • Develop strategies, tactics and processes to deliver quality installations
  • Ensure adherence to costs, quality and scheduling
  • Oversee contract management and approval process
  • Drive communication efficiency efforts between Sales, Project Managers, Installers & Vendors
  • Responsible for reporting including project evaluation, quality & finances
  • Identifying opportunities for growth and development of teams and strive to exceed expectations


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Min. 10+ years Construction Project Management experience
  • Min. 5+ years' experience managing & developing a team
  • Knowledge of Prolog, Suretrak, Primavera and Viewpoint
  • Change Order Management & Contract Administration experience
  • Understanding of construction industry
  • Strong Leadership and management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel
  • Proficient in Scheduling software & ERP software
  • Ability to prioritize & multi-task; manage multiple projects at a time
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30% (on-site installations)


Offering:

  • Base Salary $110,000+ (based on experience)
