We are looking for an enthusiastic Head of Infrastructure to own all our Cloud infrastructure and manage a team of SRE’s, Sysops, & Security engineers. Coming off a very recent migration to the cloud, we need a person who can help bring best practices and maturity to our AWS & GCP Cloud infrastructure that supports our global business.You will need to work with various Engineering and Product leaders to help define our 2019 technical & product roadmaps, and then ensure you and your team supports those initiatives. You will to work with cutting edge infrastructure and an excellent team in a hands-on fashion.


  • Ensure our infrastructure scales with our growth
  • Ensure the reliability and uptime for our global customers
  • Hands-on approach in addressing issues, outages, and new solutions
  • Manage relationship with external vendors
  • Keep our platform secure from external threats
  • Manage our AWS cost to industry standards
  • Hiring and building out the department
  • Define, manage and report back up to the executive team your teams KPI’s


  • 7+ years experience in a hands-on DevOps role
  • 4+ years experience leading an infrastructure/ops/DevOps team
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication style
  • Hands-on experience with provisioning tools (ansible, chef)
  • Good understanding about Infrastructure as Code (IaC) process, especially around Terraform
  • Docker image creation best practices
  • Strong Linux, OS, and network skills
  • Practical experience with distributed systems, especially distributed data stores such as Cassandra, Mongo, ElasticSearch, Couchbase, Redis
  • Past exposure with big data ecosystems such as Spark, Kafka, Zeppelin, AWS EMR
  • Kubernetes management a plus
