Directs the Diagnostic Imaging Department's operations including nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Supervises new testing procedures and related protocol. Regulates the maintenance of departmental facilities, supplies, equipment, and material in a manner to promote health, comfort, and efficiency. Relies on extensiveexperience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work ofothers. A widedegree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typicallyreports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
