Here is what we are looking for:

We need a Jedi-Master of Human Resources Leadership to come on board immediately.

We need someone who really understands how to sit at the top leadership table and help create & drive successful strategies in an extremely competitive industry! (HR skill and expertise isn?t enough. We need someone that is creative, a thinker?a problem solver? and who leaves the politics and grumbling to Washington? we need someone with a positive attitude who can lead positive change!)

You will draw upon your experience in the automotive industry to create and refine HR Strategies in the NAFTA Region, recruiting, compensation / benefits, organizational and individual development, expat management, employee and labor relations, union negotiations where applicable, policies & procedure and Payroll, EH&S. (we have a detailed job description of course)

We need someone who has a proven track record of success supporting a growing company as the Chief People Whiz? (ability to travel to our different manufacturing facilities, ability to communicate with all levels of associates is really a must-have for us- union and non-union experience a plus!)

We need someone with a strong background in managing their internal (7 person) HR team as well as creating valuable partnerships with vendors is also important.

The key is, you have to NOT ONLY have the Plant & Corporate HR background and education and experience you MUST ALSO have the character, leadership skills and personality to pitch in and help us grow our organization from the success we?ve built so far to the ?Employer of Choice? company we know we desire to be (Change management!)

Responsible for all HR functions for the North American facility - recruiting, compensation / benefits, organizational and individual development, expat management, employee and labor relations, vendor negotiations where applicable, policies & procedure and Payroll, EH&S

*Responsible for small team of direct reports with proper guidance, performance management and individual development/performance appraisals

* Design and implement HR strategy for North America in support of regional strategy to ensure talent retention and develop company towards business partner and employer of choice

* Ensure alignment with global standards and procedures

* Ensure alignment and standardization with North America where appropriate

*Support global projects

* Coach and counsel executive management team

* Provide guidance and assistance to President of North America in all HR related matters

*Introduce, lead and influence change management initiatives with functional / operational leaders in order to address issues that will enhance overall performance and build the overall talent capability of the organization

*Responsible for identifying gaps between current organizational capabilities, required competencies and skills, and the future strategic objectives of the organization
