We encourage employee questions and comments and strive to professionally serve our scientific community, offering a comprehensive benefits package, training courses, progressive on-line access to confidential employee data through secure password access, information on complex immigration updates, and general support of all University personnel issues.Detailed DescriptionAs the Human Resources Compliance Director, you will be an asset to members of Human Resources (HR), by providing a variety of support, guidance, and reporting on a range of HR compliance topics including Title IX, EEO, Affirmative Action, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Worker's Compensation and ERISA, paid sick leave and paid family leave, and wage and hour compliance. The Director will play an important role in reviewing HR policies and processes and suggesting improvements and revisions to achieve legal and regulatory compliance.Job RequirementsJ.D. degree and several years of progressively responsible experience required. Must have a keen ability to identify gaps in processes and ability to make suggestions regarding how to improve processes and procedures and be tech-savvy with an ability to analyze and interpret data. Must be detail-oriented and able to handle and maintain confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written skills necessary.
