The Director of Human Resources reports directly to the hospital CEO and oversee all aspects of Human Resources. The Director of HR originates and leads HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the development of an engaged workforce. Routine features include: HR planning, benefits administration, recruitment, compensation, employee relations etc. The Director of HR will collaborate and maintain functional relationships at all levels of staff within the organization.
Examples of Responsibilities:
-Engage executives to understand talent needs of the businesses and define responses
-Lead the facility HR staff to execute Ardent-wide and location-specific HR initiatives
-Deploy talent and development programs
-Promote and foster a healthy work environment
-Uphold all compliance standards, including OFCCP, Joint Commission, Department of Labor, HR policies
-Build, develop and lead a team of HR professionals within the facility
-Drive effective leader and employee communications initiatives
-Ensure operational excellence, monitoring, and measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the HR team
Desired Skills and Experience
-7-10 years HRexperience at a senior level in a work environment reflective of the scope and complexity of Lovelace Women's Hospital. Also minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience
-Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or related field. Masters degreepreferred.
-PHR or SPHR certification preferred
-Healthcare background strongly preferred.
