The Director of Global Credit & Collections is responsible for leading the maintenance and development of the global credit risk and collections management group. 


  • Execute credit and collections management in accordance with policy
  • Manage daily operations for credit, collections and cash application
  • Review monthly/quarterly reconciliations and Journal Entries for Reserves
  • Review and establish effective action plans to mitigate credit and collection risks
  • Identify collection exposures and communicate issues to senior management.
  • Evaluate Global customer credit risk in assigning payment terms and credit limits.
  • Actively oversee problem accounts
  • Drive risk and receivables reductions and measure progress with KPIs
  • Establish & maintain daily management measurements to optimize invoice to cash cycle with metrics on Cash Collection, DSO, Aged AR, Unapplied Cash & A/R Reserve
  • Prepare accurate monthly management reports and schedules
  • Collaborate with multiple levels of management including Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Marketing and Information Technology
  • Working closely with Sales Account Management team and Customer Service Team to resolve collection issues
  • Effectively select, develop, coach, empower and motivate the team to ensure growth in their scope of responsibility and accountability for operational excellence
  • Evaluate existing systems/processes to reduce complexity and increase process efficiency
  • Participate in strategic projects to support business goals and develop/implement strategy by leveraging industry experience and benchmarking
  • Work with internal and external auditors to respond to their request

  • Exposure to global markets
  •  Experience in leading global credit and collections including international markets
  • Experience in trade credit assessment tools and analysis
  • Experience with letters of credit, bank and parent company guarantees and procedures
  • SAP and Salesforce experienced strongly preferred


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or related field
