Summary

The Director of Retails Sales will work closely with The Company's President to develop and execute the necessary sales strategies in the Retail division to grow the business profitably.

He/she will develop and oversee the overall RetailSales function ensuring employees and sales plans are organized for maximum sales value. 

The Director of RetailSales will oversee the Business Development Manager and Territory Sales Representatives and guide them towards sales and market growth, product development, and identify new and existing opportunities.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Business Administration, Marketing or related course of study.
  • 10years of sales management experience
  • 10years of experience in RetailSales and Distribution.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must have excellent analytical skills.
  • Must have excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office – basic HTML, Excel, PowerPoint, Words.
  • Must be able to manage company confidential information
  • Must be able to comply with company attendance and punctuality policy.
  • Must be able to travel, including oversees.
  • Must have a valid California Drivers’ License and enroll in company’s Pull Program.
  • Valid vehicle registration and insurance required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
  • Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Reports to corporate office in addition to field/client visits.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Leads, manages, and owns the RetailSales strategy and activity for The Company.
  2. Works directly with The Company President to develop the necessary strategy in the RetailSales Division to grow the business profitability based on the overall company growth strategy.
  3. Revenue and expense management responsibilities for the RetailSales Department.
  4. Responsible for executing sales forecasts and adjusting to changing opportunities.
  5. Responsible for ensuring proper selling strategies and tactics are developed to support the plan in order to meet the goals.
  6. Works closely with R&D, Marketing, and Operations with open channels of communication and collaboration.
  7. Coordinates promotional, ad and marketing strategies with the Marketing Dept. that maximize brand awareness and product movement goals.
