How You'll Contribute to the Team 

The Director of Financial Analysis, Capital Markets is responsible for creating and maintaining financial models for complex client solutions from project inception through financial close, including capital formation, transaction structuring, underwriting and due diligence.

 At Corvias, you'll be called upon to ensure accurate financial models as you:

  • Create and maintain standardized project templates across the business on both a cash flow and GAAP basis.
  • Support business development team and senior leadership with structuring throughout the deal pursuit process, from inception through financial close
  • Work collaboratively with lenders, investors, external advisors and client in project underwriting
  • Work closely with business development and client in performing due diligence to validate modeling assumptions

Role specific requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. MBA required, CFA and/or CPApreferred.
  • 8-12 years financialexperience, including top-tier investment banking
  • Industry experience in project financing, modeling and underwriting of infrastructure, public private partnerships (P3), energy and/or real estate transactions.
  • A critical thinker with innovative solutions to complex business issues.
  • Extensive experience with Excel and other financial modeling tools, including complex formulas, scenariosvaluation methods, GAAP, and sensitivity analysis / complex financial modeling skills that ultimately assist the organization and clients with making the right decisions.
  • Ability to synthesize complex models and deal structures into clear, concise, simple oral and written communications for presentation to senior leadership and clients.
