Responsibilities & Qualifications:STRATEGIC PLANNING

  • Supports the Chief Growth Officer and Sales VPs in developing multi-yearbusiness plans and profitable growth strategies, with focus on maximizing performance within key business drivers.
  • Collaborates and partners with business leaders across Marketing, Product, Pricing, and other functions to maximize margins and operating cash flows through the development and execution of cost-effective growth strategies through Direct distributionchannels.
  • Provides guidance in the formulation and ongoing management of Sales budgets to ensure the effective execution of the business strategy. Works with Sales VPs and their teams to develop long and short-term objectives, and to measure their results.
  • Provides framework and leadership in developing cost effective ways to grow ADT’s market share.

OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT

  • Translates data into high-value, actionable insights for senior leadership and business partners, developing and refining new analyses in response to business needs, and bringing expertise on emerging trends.
  • Validates and improves existing metrics and creates new resources for data-driven insights (both internal and external). Provides leadership on metric definitions and analytic methodologies to assess key business value drivers.
  • Manages and performs analyses and research in all financial areas such as revenue generation, expense performance, and cash flow.
  • Develops, prepares, and analyzes financialreports based on actual, forecast, and budget data.
  • Coordinates directly with the CGO and Sales VPs to prepare content for monthly Operating Reviews, distilling data into insights, and translating actions (both executed and planned) into financial outcomes.
  • Evaluates the economic return of various sales/marketing initiatives, commission plans, investment proposals, etc., and leads the preparation of formal business cases in support of major programs.
  • Educates leadership team on Monthly Reporting packages, Financials, and Planning process including high-level messages, insights and business impact. Researches and implements better uses of available financial data.
  • Leads SOX and ADT policy compliance (audits, compliance, policy).
  • Oversees the completion of projects including planning; assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work; evaluating results, etc.

  • Builds, develops and leads a team of Finance professionals by providing clarity of vision, strategy and expectations. Prioritizes goals and objectives and drives meaningful and effective change; removes obstacles and barriers to success.
  • Sets clear expectations and holds the team accountable, ensuring all managers are executing effectively.
  • Cultivates and inspires employee engagement, discretionary effort, and retention through robust and regular employee communications, role modeling a culture of performance feedback, reward & recognition, and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Provides advocacy for all team members while collaborating directly with BU and functional areas to execute on the overall Business Plan.

Education/ Work Experience Required:

  • Bachelors Degreein either Finance/Accounting or equivalent. MBA or CPApreferred.
  • 10+ years ofdirectly related financeexperiencerequired, particularly when in support ofInside Sales and/or Field Sales organizations.
  • Solid leadershipand project management experience with the ability to organize and managemultiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Thorough knowledgeand understanding of financial and business management principles with theability to communicate and prioritize business requirements; experience withinsubscription-based business models specifically attractive.
  • Strong executivepresence and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft products (e.g. Excel(modeling), Access, Word, PowerPoint).
