We have an EXCLUSIVE search for a driven accounting professional for a highly interactive career opportunity with one of the premier non-profit enterprises in the Tampa area! This Director of Finance and Accounting will be responsible for overseeing all accounting practices, reporting, budgeting/forecasting, treasury management, and external audits for the company. Director of Finance and Accounting Benefits and Compensation:

Highly competitive compensation of $90,000 - $100,000

Director of Finance and Accounting Reporting Job Duties:

Ensure all financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP
Supervise all accounting processes, monthly close, and routine account reconciliations
Ensure the company maintains adequate internal controls and risk management
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Monitor investments and endowment accounts
Prepare financial reports for executive leadership, and for the Board of Directors
Evaluate and innovate with respect to existing processes and internal control structures
Supervise, mentor and develop staff
Assist with company strategic planning process

Director of Finance and Accounting Skills/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA certification required
8+ years of progressive accounting experience including specific experience leading in a non-profit environment
Advanced technical and analytical skills required
Strong leadership development skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Superb attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills required
