The Director of Facilities is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the BWFH physical plant, facilities, and grounds. In addition, the director plays a key role in overseeing and coordinating all campus renovation and construction projects. This role manages the multi-trade team of employees that includes engineering, electrical, HVAC, painting, maintenance and ground.
This role reports directly to the Executive Director of Facilities and Support Services, reflecting the critical importance of campus re-development, renovation, and clinical program growth activities as part of the current BWFH strategic plan and goals. Success in this role also requires managing positive relationships with many directors and managers within the BWFH community, as well as active collaboration with colleagues and peers within Brigham Health and the larger Partners HealthCare System.

Bachelor’s Degree required
Master’s Degree preferred
Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive leadership experience strongly desired in a relevant healthcare facilities setting
Familiar with OSHA and Joint Commission policies preferred
