Summary of Primary Function
The primary responsibility of this position is to be the department head for St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Provides oversight of managing day to day operations of the dept to include oversight of the powerhouse lead, construction team lead and the facilities and maintenance lead. Will oversee the Life Safety aspect of the facility. Position will report to the VP; Regional Development and Operations but will have a relationship with all other department heads at St. Vincent.
Essential Job Functions
Required Minimum Education:
4 year/ Bachelors Degree
Construction Management or related area.
Minimum Years and Type of Experience:
7-10 years of demonstrated leadership experience in healthcare related construction projects or commercial equivalent
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Previous work experience using a calculator, personal computer and computer programs including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Project, Timberline Estimating, Primavera and other Construction Management Software, AutoCAD Lite and Internet usage. Working knowledge of all construction assemblies, procedures of in-place products, systems, components required of all divisions, and all crafts
