In this role, you will partner with Product and Design to lead teams in building the best products and features to get more people outside. You will be responsible for the Product Engineering org including--but not limited to--planning, execution, recruiting, mentorship. Building a great product is a highly collaborative effort, so it’s important you are a team player with strong communication skills. You will report directly to the Head of Engineering.
What Success Looks Like
- You partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to establish the vision and define structured plans to achieve it
- You partner closely with Engineering and the People team to attract world-class talent and grow the Product Engineering team
- You work closely with Engineering leads/leaders to help them architect systems that enable high velocity execution with high reliability
- You propose innovative and creative ideas that lead to a product that delights our customers and creates business impact
- You raise the bar on quality, testing, and performance to ensure the product reliably performs for our customers
- You help develop best practices and standards to strengthen our team
- You own outages and failures by supporting team members when they're on-call
- You foster an inclusive, supportive, and positive environment that is great to work in

- Experience rapidly growing teams

- Strong planning and execution skills
- Strong architectural skills in both systems and applications
