Job Description

ADP Marketplace is seeking a Developer Marketing Director to build and execute impactful marketing strategies for ADP API Central, a new product that provides developers with instant access to APIs, tools, and support so they can integrate their HR and business solutions with ADP. This role will collaborate with marketing, product, sales, and the data insights teams to execute a thoughtful strategy targeting developers and HR managers. Through digital marketing, content development, events and more, you will be responsible for helping to drive awareness and revenue for this new product suite.

This position requires a self-starter with strong project management and organizational skills. The ideal candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The candidate will be a high-energy, detail–oriented team member who strives for innovation and purposeful outcomes. This self-directed marketing director should have a good understanding of what is important to both the developer community and an HR audience. You should have the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities with a professional, can-do attitude. This role will be reporting into the head of ADP Marketplace marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a highly effective go-to-market strategy for developers and HR with strong cross- collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Research and incorporate competitive awareness/differentiation, size opportunities for growth and drive go to market strategies.
  • Create and implement product marketing strategies which elevate ADP’s position in the market.
  • Distinctly articulate our value proposition across internal and external audiences
  • Function as the link between Product Management and Corporate marketing ensuring adequate marketing plans, launch plans and communications are created and followed for go to market.
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to drive sales growth plans for new and existing client upsell, cross-sell.
  • Drive product demo strategies for internal and external audiences
  • Central point of ownership for all product marketing activities.
  • Maintain solid measurement and metrics on product sales and performance as it relates to marketing.
  • Identify key industry events for both developer and HR audiences and build an event strategy to help drive awareness and sales.
  • Serve as key liaison with industry analysts and other external stakeholders in conjunction with product mgmt. as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years in a product marketing or marketing communications role
  • Knowledge and experience in Human Capital Management (HCM).
  • Experience with digital marketing and merchandising; search engine optimization.
  • Prefer working in a collaborative cross/team capacity, this role requires you to work across functions and business units with constant interaction with teams and internal associates.
  • Results-oriented; high sense of urgency and energy.
  • Experience with SaaS marketplaces and product


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Experience working with large, global businesses.
  • Experience marketing to developers
  • Strong leadership skills to influence across organizational lines and executive presence as well as outstanding interpersonal, verbal, written communication, presentation, and process facilitation skills with the ability to present his/her views in a compelling manner.
  • Highly collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, energetic, and complex environment.
  • A high degree of personal initiative, results orientation and integrity are essential.
  • Highly evolved analytical skills to ensure clear analysis and sound data-based decision-making.
  • Exceptional business acumen with a deep understanding of client and prospects most critical business issues and the ability to translate ADP’s product and service capabilities into significant business value.
  • Thrives in an environment of creativity, idea generation and excels in driving new efforts from ideation to flawless execution and meaningful measurements.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated experience in building breakthrough product positioning and go to market strategies which drive marketing execution plans.


Role is Hybrid out of an ADP Office.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. Compensation range for this role is – $90,800 – $184,200 / Year
