Job Description for Advertising Purposes  

   As Director of Demand Generation for Augmented Reality (AR), you will drive brand awareness and marketing sourced pipeline for PTC’s industry-leading AR technology platform, Vuforia. You will lead a team of individual contributors dedicated to planning and executing engaging campaigns with global reach using best-in-class marketing techniques and tools. Your work will help grow PTC’s market share in the exciting and competitive AR segment, and help transform the world’s industrial environments by creating demand for innovative AR technology.
 
You will be a critical leader within the Platform Marketing Programs organization that supports all demand generation planning and execution for both the Internet of Things (IoT) and AR high-growth segments at PTC. You will work closely with your colleagues within the Programs organization that lead Event Marketing, Content Marketing, and Digital Marketing to bring your campaign plans to fruition. You will also work with a broad range of cross-functional teams including Regional Marketing, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Sales to lock down an annual marketing strategy and quarterly execution plans. Your direct team will consist of marketing program managers focused on building campaigns and tracking the performance of those campaigns against goals.
 
Day-To-Day:


You will be responsible for creating, managing, and analyzing the performance of the demand generation program for the Vuforia platform, including setting and achieving demand waterfall goals. You will build, present, and deliver quarterly packages to Regional Marketing who will execute AR campaigns at a global scale. Your day-to-day will consist of meeting with cross-functional teams for alignment, analyzing campaign effectiveness, prioritizing resources, managing the AR demand generation budget, and nurturing the professional talent on your team.
 
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:


•Advanced knowledge of modern marketing methods, metrics, and tools
•Experience and comfort with presenting to Executive staff
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Strong team leadership skills, including ability to motivate and inspire others
 
Basic Qualifications:


•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related communications field
•10+ years of experience in B2B marketing that includes high-growth and/or high-tech segments
•Experience with account-based marketing, inbound marketing, and low-touch online demand generation
•Proven track record of working with Sales to meet marketing sourced pipeline goals
•Proven team leadership skills
