Provide strategic direction regarding best practices, prioritization, business insight, and model implementation for Personal Lines Decision Analytics and overall thought leadership on product development and segmentation.
*** Oversee delivery, validation, development, and utilization of predictive modeling & applied research for projects.
*** Manage maintenance and support of predictive analysis related to economic demand models including issue rate modeling (new business), retention modeling, and customer lifetime value.
*** Utilize R, Python, SAS, and similar programming languages to assist with demand modeling, pricing research, optimization analysis, prescriptive analytics, and tool creation & delivery.
*** Collaborate with quantitative analysts, modelers, and data scientists to drive application of industry leading predictive modeling into Underwriting, Pricing, Claims, Operations, Sales, and Marketing departments.
*** Present model results to internal clients and assist in implementation of analysis results in partnership with product management, IT, operations, etc.
*** Serve as subject matter expert in predictive modeling, statistical theory (regression and multivariate statistics), data mining techniques, and their applications in insurance.
*** Coach and develop staff including instruction on modeling and visualization.
