OverviewAt Grata, we are looking for an experienced and motivated candidate to lead our newly formed Data Operations department. In this role you will operationalize and manage 5 overseas research teams run by team leads. We are looking for someone who has experience building outsourced teams, scaling complex data operations processes, increasing efficiencies in their workflows, and creating management reports.
This is a unique opportunity for an up-and-coming leader to be part of our senior leadership team and work directly with the founders. Additionally, this will be a career inflecting role that will give you access to proprietary data, exposure to the latest AI/ML programs, and experience at a fast-growing market disruptor.
About the Role:You will...
- Oversee our entire Data Operations department
- You will set the strategy, resource the team, and ensure operational excellence
- Partner with product managers and engineering teams to contribute to data strategy and data management
- Get hands on - train the team, improve processes, and run weekly management reports
- This is a high-impact, high-visibility role interacting directly with Grata's founders
About You:- 7+ years of work experience. Data operations, consulting, or a similar role preferred
- 3+ years of management/leadership skills
- Perfectionist obsessed with data quality
- Analytical thinker who is able to communicate perspectives clearly
- Gritty, scrappy, and resilient, with a strong bias for action and excited to take on new challenges
- Technical skills: data exploration skills (basic SQL, R or python), BI tools (Azure ADF, SSIS, Talend, Profisee, SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik)

The compensation for this role is targeted at $130,000-$150,000, plus a significant equity package.
