Role Overview

We are searching for an experienced leader who will shape our transformation and create a groundbreaking operational discipline within Marketing Architects. This individual will lead a team of professionals who are embedded in business units throughout the organization.

The centralized operating structure serves as a catalyst to optimize the performance of the business units it serves, while developing a comprehensive perspective of how the organization can work more effectively and efficiently. The corporate operations team will serve the following business units: Media, Client Services, Sales & Marketing and Technology.

The expectations of this role are broken into two categories:

Business Units Served

  • Build trust and successfully collaborate cross-functionally with business unit leaders to gain their buy-in
  • Partner with business unit leaders to drive the implementation of new strategies and frameworks
  • Collaborate with business units to develop strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity
  • Maintain seamless communication to ensure understanding of procedures, and foster cooperation for a smooth workflow
  • Provide flawless execution on the operational tasks and processes to support the business unit
  • Identify new software, systems and processes to increase business unit efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Build short- and long-term operational development roadmaps

Corporate Operations Team

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of 5-10 individuals
  • Drive a cultural mindset of relentless learning with the intent to create value, and embrace the mentality of 'stop doing' for antiquated processes and systems
  • Implement operational philosophies and frameworks to elevate efficiency, profitability and growth
  • Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending cross-functional solutions for improvement

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of operations experience
  • 5+ years leading teams in process/project management in a matrixed organization
  • Experience scaling a growing organization
  • BA/BS in business/business operations (or similar degree)
  • Results oriented with a commitment to accountability
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels within the organization
  • Proven success in leading projects resulting in measurable improvement to productivity, performance or profitability
  • Deep knowledge and strong belief in specific operational methodologies and tools
