Zocdoc is seeking a Director of Corporate Finance to join our team. You will support Zocdoc’s senior leaders in the critical areas of Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury, and Investor Relations while managing a team of finance professionals. You also will lead the enhancement of internal processes in an effort to improve the finance function at the strategic and operational levels.

What you’ll do:

    • Direct the development and execution of annual and strategic financial plans, focusing on underlying business drivers and sensitivity analysis
    • Oversee the review and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance to determine key drivers impacting company’s P&Ls, balance sheets, cash flow, etc.
    • Drive monthly business review process with executive team, ensuring the timely production and issuance of financialreports
    • Develop and maintain scenario analysis (investor guidance), risks and opportunities schedules, etc.
    • Work with our Communications and Accounting teams to develop and deliver a comprehensive quarterly reporting package for our investors
    • Prepare internal presentations and reports for senior management and the Board of Directors on investor sentiment, valuation analysis and relevant peer and industry news
    • Oversee cash management
    • Enhance and maintain weekly cash flow forecast
    • Support capital raises including debt and equity
    • Participate in M&A and other strategic projects when they occur

What’s required:

  • A strong record of achievement resulting in rapid career advancement and having successfully completed “tours of duty” in a variety of functions across Finance and Operations. Candidates must have exceptional technical skills (ERP tools, Microsoft Excel, Tableau and Visual Basic, SQL, Python and R) and significant experience leveraging these tools to solve business problems
  • Strong knowledge of key concepts across FP&A, Investor Relations and Treasury
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple, high priority projects with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability and desire to understand the operational drivers of business performance
  • Ability to communicate financial matters to non-Finance personnel
  • Advanced financial modeling skills. Experience building driver based models with fully integrated P&L, Balance sheet and Cash Flow
  • Enthusiastic user of technology to generate and analyze data strategically
  • ERP Experience (Netsuite a plus)
  • Ability to write VBA code to automate repetitive tasks
  • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, comparable company, etc.)
  • Prior experience in top-tier management consulting with an emphasis on operations and executable strategy (e.g. Strategy and Operations group or a Program Management/Strategy practice)
  • Prior Public Company experience with exposure to FP&A or Investor Relations
  • Undergraduate degree in a STEM field from top tier university with MBA or CFA a plus
