Automotive Manufacturing Client located in Troy, MI

Compensation from $140K to $170K. Excellent Bonus, Benefits,  and  Relocation Assistance.

Position Description.

  • Responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs, including base pay, incentive pay, health and welfare benefits, and retirement benefits..
  • Executes  and ensure all aspects of employee welfare plan strategy is competitive and successfully implemented, and the effectiveness realized in terms of recruiting, retention and meeting corporate economic goals
  • Identifies areas of opportunity for cost savings and risk reduction through administrative efficiencies; develops new policy and procedures and recommends administrative processes to achieve these efficiencies.
  • Maintains current knowledge of related government rules and regulations, including the Employee Retirement Income Security act (ERISA), FMLA, ADA, COBRA and other applicable Labor and/or Taxlaws and regulations; fulfills compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Provides strategic direction and oversight of corporate payroll, payrolltaxes and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Promotes a culture of accountability, strong ethical standards and high degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Provides training and mentoring of direct reports.
  • Collaborative business partner who works effectively across the organization withinternal and external partners.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • 10 years Compensation and Benefits working knowledge
  • Knowledge of Legislation and Compliance Requirements
  • Automotive industry experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
