As a key member of the Corporate Accounting team, the Director of Corporate Accounting is responsible for the management and integrity of the Company’s accounting operations and related financial and management reporting functions worldwide.

Must have:

  • Lead the accounting operations and financialreporting functions
  • Design, implement and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures and controls
  • Provide technical accounting and financialreporting subject matter expertise
  • Lead the cash management and forecasting process
  • Manage the monthly accounting close process
  • Manage the production and preparation of financial information required for filings of the Company’s financials with external stakeholders
  • Manage the execution of year-end audit procedures in partnership with the auditors
  • Design and implement informative financialreports to meet the needs of the business
  • Provide analysis on financial results (actual vs. budget, trends, KPIs, benchmarks)
  • Evaluate the accounting and financialreporting impact of operational decisions
  • Provide support and analysis to the business planning process
  • Design and implement financial systems solutions
  • Drive to continuously improve the accounting operations and reporting process
  • Assist internal departments with accounting and reporting related matters
  • Own tax and equity accounting
  • Mentor, coach and develop the accounting team
  • Support ad hoc projects

These are good too:

  • Degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA
  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in public/corporate accounting
  • Strong financial systems background (NetSuite a plus)
  • Ability to mine, manipulate and analyze large quantities of data
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail a must
  • Excellent written, oral and communication skills to effectively interact with senior managers and cross-functional teams
  • Results oriented
  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
