A critical facilitator to the success of the company, our team works with senior leaders across the company to understand the business imperatives and help them achieve them through compensation. As the Director of Compensation, you are based in our Santa Clara headquarters and report into the Managing Director of Total Rewards. You lead a team of professionals and are responsible for the broad-based compensation function which includes business support, incentive plan development, and compliance. You are a proactive problem solver adept at achieving results in a team-oriented and collaborative environment, while also able to work independently. You are a true business partner who can learn and understand the business fundamentals, effectively listen to our employees, and synthesize the core issue to provide effective solutions. You build and foster long-term relationships across the organization to create value for employees. You are comfortable leading a group of seasoned professionals through strong technical/thought leadership and by guiding and leveraging their insights and experience through an open collaborative approach. Your strong technical working knowledge in all aspects of broad-based compensation helps you work on detailed projects, often requiring a hands on approach. You thrive managing several projects at a time and solving complex problems through curiosity, learning agility and the ability to effectively work with ambiguity.
10-15years of experience in the design and implementation of compensation programs; technical expertise in incentive plan design, development and administration; market analysis and pricing, salary planning, and alternative reward and design techniques preferred. While prior banking industry experience is useful, it is not required.

? Excellent at analyzing, synthesizing and drawing conclusions from the data quickly and accurately. ?Experienced working in a dynamic HR organization that requires good partnership skills to support the business.
?Experienced with implementing and managing compensation planning HRIS systems. ? Strong with math and modeling skills.
? Exceptionally strong problem solver and has proven persuasion skills.
? Participate in the annual review of market data and development of market reference ranges, including report development, analysis of market data, movement recommendation and costing for both US and additional countries as assigned. ? Ability to work independently with only broad general direction.
? Advanced level HRIS and PC skills with spreadsheet, database, and word processing software with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word preferred.
