This position will lead the global real estate project management function for the company's portfolio of properties (275+) located in the Americas, EMEA, APAC, and India regions. Reporting to the Vice President Global Real Estate (GRE), this is a key leadership role within the company's corporate real estate function and will work closely with business and functional leadership to meet business needs and optimize the company's branded global real estate footprint through efficient project management and execution across the site network.
Directs project management services for assigned Jones Lang LaSalle client projects ensuring adherence with scope, schedule and budget for assigned projects in accordance with agreed Key Performance Indicators.
Direct supervision of on-site project managers dedicated to the site and supervision of variable project managers delivering services across a geographically disbursed portfolio.
Drive adherence to company standards when on boarding new Project teams.
Drive process for all Project Managers and act as the single point of contact for training, questions, and lessons learned regarding project management and execution.
Develop annual capital planin conjunction with leadership, including scope, schedule and estimated budget requirements.
Provide technical support; project budgeting and scheduling including goals & objectives, site improvements, entitlements & permits, consultant selection; design team management, schedule creation and management, contractor selection and management, financial management including cash flows, anticipated cost reports and monthly reports.
Monitor the performance of Project Management service providers and act as an escalation point on matters of PM performance.
Work effectively with business and functional leaders to ensure project support and alignment.
Disseminate best practices globally and ensure lessons learned are captured and included when on-boarding teams for new Projects.
Provide guidance for consistency in service delivery and sharing Best Practice internally, regionally and globally.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Provide appropriate level of on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are met.
Develop relationships with consultants/contractors/vendors and evaluate their performance regularly.
Establish robust management operating system (MOS) including steering team structures to ensure visibility on budget, schedule, and risks for critical projects.
Actively participate in GRE metro planning reviews for the company global portfolio.
