Position Description The Director of Commercial Business Development is responsible for leading the growth and development of commercial accounts. The role works in partnership with commercial sales and store operations teams to exceed customer’s expectations by delivering WOW! Customer Service to all AZ accounts by Living the Pledge everyday.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Drives team to analyze market data and develop customer specific plans that will result in driving profitable Commercial sales
• Develops and implements long term, strategic plans focused on significantly growing our Commercial national account business
• Motivates and leads Commercial Sales Team to increase productivity level and market products to enhance sales and profits
• Identify, assess and target accounts contracting opportunities that will financially benefit the growth of the Company
• Maintains strong relationships with current and existing Commercial customers while obtaining new business with shop owners in the assigned Area
• Drive electronic ordering to customers where such ordering is part of their workflow (key national accounts, 3rd party integrations and the dealership segment)
• Conduct business reviews with team, in partnership with other commercial sales teams
• Develops and maintain high visibility with key account decision-makers and decision-influencers to advance business opportunities.
• Communicate clearly the progress of period/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Forecast and track key account metrics
• Identifies growth opportunities within territory/area/zone or nationally and collaborates appropriately to ensure execution of the plan
• Executes sales and marketing plans targeted at National, Regional and local Commercial customers
• Analyzes sales reports and takes appropriate action Position Requirements • 9+ years of business to business sales experience, with 5+ years in sales management
• Travel minimum of 70% of time
• Relentless pursuit of new profitable business and penetration of current accounts
• Excellent leadership skills
• Drives team to identify, create and execute customer development plans      
• Strong communication, collaboration negotiation, organization and leadership skills
• Integrity, honesty, passion, drive and the desire for success
• Excellent customer service skills
• Educations:  Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
