Job Description

The Director of Clinical Quality Improvement for the Floyd Primary Care Network provides leadership and oversight to the strategic development and implementation of the quality improvement and patient safety programs (performance improvement, patient safety, and accreditation) with responsibility for planning, organizing, directing the managerial and operational activities of the infrastructurerequired to support these efforts. The Director of Clinical Quality Improvement will exercise subject matter expertise in working collaboratively with providers, staff and system leadership to promote the overall quality of care delivered to our patients to ensure optimal outcomes.


A. Education Required/preferred

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, nursing or a related field, from an accredited college, required.
  2. Nursing or other clinical degree strongly preferred.

B. Licensure/Certification

  1. No licensure required.

C. Experience

  1. Minimum of five (5) years' progressive experience in a healthcare-related field.
  2. Management responsibilities for at least 2 years.
